Altify Account Manager Settings

The table below explains the settings available in Custom Settings > Altify Account Manager Settings.

Setting Description
Account CRUD Search View

When the user is working on the account structure of an an Account Manager plan (during plan setup or within Plan Settings in an existing plan), they can use an Advanced Search option when adding account rows or grouping accounts on a single row of the opportunity map. Using an Account list view, the administrator can control:

  • Which search fields are available in the advanced search.
  • Which columns are shown in the advanced search results.

In this field, you can replace the default list view with a different one. For more information, see Fields on Altify Advanced Search CRUD Dialogs.

Account Manager Plan Public Read Only

Select this checkbox if org-wide sharing is set to Public Read Only for the Account Manager Plan object.

AM Account Custom Naming

The API name of the custom field that will be used by Altify to name accounts in Account Manager. For more information, see Surfacing Alternative Account Names.

Note: Where a user has specified an account group name in the ‘Altify Account Grouping Editor’, that gets surfaced rather than the alternative account name configured here.

Buying CRUD Search View This setting is not used in the current version of Altify Account Manager.
Completeness Batch Size Defines the number of plans that are processed per batch for the report Altify Account Completeness. By default, this is set to '1'. For more information, see Completeness Scoring and Altify Statuses.
Completeness - Business Dev Objtve Types

A comma-separated list of Objective Type Values which are considered as Business Development Objectives for the purpose of completeness calculation.

Completeness - Relationship Objtve Types

A comma-separated list of Objective Type Values which are considered as Relationship Objectives for the purpose of completeness calculation.

Completeness - Revenue Objective Types

A comma-separated list of Objective Type Values which are considered as Revenue Objectives for the purpose of completeness calculation.

Disable Account Manager Task Updates When this checkbox is selected, task updates in Account Manager plans are not logged.
Disable competitor creation When this checkbox is selected, users cannot create a new competitor when they are updating a Market Landscape intersection on an Opportunity Map (in the TAM view). Users can only select pre-configured competitors when adding competitors to the Market Landscape of an Opportunity Map.

Pre-configured competitors are added on the Altify Competitors tab. For more information, see Configuring Account Manager Plan Competitors.

Disable Navigation Tooltips Select this checkbox to remove tooltips from the navigation tabs in Account Manager.
Display Opps in user's currency When this checkbox is selected, opportunities are displayed in the user's currency in account plans and Account Manager plans. This setting only affects your organization if it supports multiple currencies.
Enable Third-Party Segmentation When this checkbox is selected, the Segmentation indicator on the opportunity map takes its value from an Account custom field, so that a third-party source can be used for the Segmentation value. This works in conjunction with the Third-Party Segmentation Field custom setting.
Flat account hierarchy

Stops the automatic inclusion of opportunities from child accounts on parent account rows in your organization's Account Manager plans.

With this setting enabled, child accounts will need to be manually added to the plan structure if you want their opportunities to be included in the Account Manager plan.

Note: If enabled, you also need to run the batch job Set up a flat account hierarchy. For more information, see Altify Batch Jobs .

Hide default objectives with no actions Hide all the default [Unassigned Actions] objectives from Objectives page which do not have any related actions.
Opp Amount Field

Use this setting to specify the API name of custom Amount field for opportunities instead of the standard Amount field.

if this setting is blank, the software uses the standard opportunity amount field.

Opp Product Amount Field

When Product Line Splits is enabled, an admin can use the Opp Product Amount Field setting to configure account plans and Account Manager plans to use an opportunity custom amount field instead of the standard Amount field. For more information, see Product Line Splits with a Custom Opp Amount.

Opportunity CRUD Search View

When the user is adding opportunities or qualifying potential opportunities on an opportunity map, the intersection (and bulk import) dialog includes search fields. Using an Opportunity list view, the administrator can control:

  • Which search fields are available in the search.
  • Which columns are shown in the search results.

In this field, you can replace the default list view with a different one. For more information, see Fields on Altify Advanced Search CRUD Dialogs.

Plan Review Presenter Process Image Url You can use this field to specify an alternative Test & Improve process image shown in the right-hand panel for presenters.
Plan Review Process Image Url You can use this field to specify an alternative Test & Improve process image for the Test & Improve welcome page.
Plan Review Reviewer Process Image Url You can use this field to specify an alternative Test & Improve process image shown in the right-hand panel for reviewers.
Third-Party Segmentation Field With the Enable Third-Party Segmentation field selected, this field specifies the API name of a custom field from which the software takes the account's segmentation value. This gives you a way of using another application – such as Anaplan – to determine the account's market segmentation.
Use Product Line Splits

This field controls whether opportunity values in an account plan or Account Manager plan are split on the basis of products mapped to solutions. For more information, see Configuring Product Line Items.

Use Quantity In Market Landscape When this setting is enabled, the TAM and Competitors views in an Opportunity Map express market share in terms of unit quantities rather than monetary values.
Use Simple Completion Calculations Applies a simplified scoring system to Altify's calculation of insight map and relationship map completeness. For more information, see Completeness Scoring and Altify Statuses.
Use Solution Family on Opportunity Map

Solutions can be grouped into solution families in the opportunity maps of Account Manager plans. Select this checkbox if you want to be able to set up solution families.

(Solution families are automatically applied in account plans).

Write Back Opp Amount Field

This setting should be checked if you have saved a value in the setting Opp Amount Field. The write back behaviour means that when a user qualifies a potential opportunity, its amount value is automatically saved to the custom amount field (Opp Amount Field).
